Single Room Design is my design-only interior design service for homeowners who want professional help creating one complete room, while keeping control of the implementation themselves.
I'll take the time to understand your home, how you use the space and the look and feel you want to create. I'll then develop a complete design direction for the room, bringing together the layout, colour palette, furniture, lighting and finishes.
Rather than being left with inspiration and ideas, you'll have a clear design plan to work from and the confidence to make your room happen.

Your design won’t be created in isolation. You’ll have the opportunity to review and feedback throughout the process, so we can make sure the final scheme feels right for you.
We’ll first review your initial Design Direction, including the colour concept and spatial plan, before I move into the detailed design. You’ll then have a further opportunity to review the complete scheme before your final Design Pack is prepared.

Complete your questionnaire, send over photos and measurements. We will discuss your ideas in your 90-minute design consultation and create you a personalised brief.

Establish the direction
I’ll develop your Design Direction, which includes a colour concept, a spatial plan and a design direction mood board to establish a clear design plan for your space. We’ll review these together before progressing.

Complete your Design
You’ll receive your Detailed Design. I'll source the furniture, lighting, finishes and materials that bring the concept to life and create your final design presentation.

Bring your space to life
You'll receive your complete Design Presentation Pack and shopping list, giving you a clear plan and everything you need to implement the room yourself, at your own pace.

Single Room Design is suitable for spaces including living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, nurseries, and home offices. If you're planning a kitchen, bathroom or project involving significant structural work, get in touch and I'll advise whether Single Room or Whole Home Design is more appropriate.

Once I’ve received everything I need to begin your project, including your completed questionnaire, room measurements and photographs, your Single Room Design will typically take 4–6 weeks to complete.
This includes the initial concept stage, your review and feedback, detailed design and preparation of your final Design Pack.

Single Room Design is a design-only service, so you'll receive the specifications and a clickable shopping list, so you have everything you need to purchase the recommended pieces yourself.

Absolutely. A good design doesn't mean replacing everything you own. I'll consider the pieces you'd like to keep and incorporate them into the new scheme wherever they work.
